This is a 1-year contract role for an Export Import Assistant in Pune, supporting the financial function. Responsibilities include booking transport, managing customs clearance and shipping documentation, invoicing, and freight invoice approval. Requires 1-2 years of experience in import-export, Excel, and ERP understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Booking of transport of standard orders, documents, manuals etc.
  • Import pick up customs clearance, co-ordinate for logistics and documentation.
  • Execute correct shipping documentation in accordance with receiving country demand.
  • Execute correct shipping documentation in accordance with Letter of Credit.
  • Following up on shipments according to Incoterms
  • Invoicing of standard orders
  • Booking of FCA shipments ad-hoc (import and domestics)
  • Approval of freight invoices and filing of documents

Requirements

  • 1-2 Years of Experience in Import-Export field including Documentation, co-ordination, logistics etc.
  • Good at Excel
  • ERP understanding and using.
  • Multitasking, fast learner and good communication both written and verbal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate Diploma in Foreign trade will be added advantage.
  • Any graduate, post-graduation or qualification in Foreign Trade would be an added advantage.
