Responsibilities

  • Partner with Mack and Volvo dealerships to grow wholesale and retail parts sales.
  • Develop strategic business plans and strengthen dealer relationships.
  • Execute actions to improve dealership sales performance and customer experience.
  • Achieve annual parts sales growth targets.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with dealer leadership.
  • Establish relationships with key dealership personnel (Parts, Service, Sales, Leasing).
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor to dealership decision-makers.
  • Resolve dealer and fleet issues.
  • Utilize Volvo's CRM and market tools to manage sales opportunities.
  • Increase dealer utilization of marketing tools like PartsASIST, MAPP, Fleet Preferred, and Ad Builder.
  • Authorize parts pricing adjustments.
  • Train and implement the MAPP Sales Management process.
  • Coach Outside Parts Salespeople and Parts Managers on sales strategy, opportunity management, and operations.
  • Build partnerships with internal teams across Truck Sales, Service, Finance, Leasing, and Used Trucks.
  • Develop an internal support network to drive dealership success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the heavy-duty truck, automotive, or related industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Results-driven with a high level of accountability.
  • Skilled at developing and executing successful sales plans.
  • Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry, dealer operations, and parts sales environment.
  • Effective time and territory management skills.
  • Knowledge of wholesale and retail dealership policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Passionate about supporting dealer success.
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
  • Previous transportation industry sales experience preferred.

  • Frequent travel required (approximately 60%).
