HCLTech is seeking a Senior Hardware/Electrical Engineer for their Bangalore location. This role involves hands-on experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design, with a focus on automotive ADAS systems. Responsibilities include requirement analysis, schematic capture, board bring-up, testing, debugging, and component management.

Responsibilities

Understand customer requirements and create detailed requirement documents.
Perform schematic capture and review.
Prepare engineering documents such as Test plans, Test reports, and presentations.
Handle board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
Generate EBOMs and manage electronic components, considering obsolescence and cost reduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project targets on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in Analog, Digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
Experience in High-Speed design and development, specifically in automotive digital circuits.
Experience with High-Speed Interfaces (DDR3/4/5, MIPI, FPD Link, Automotive Ethernet, PCI & PCIe).
Experience with NVIDIA or Qualcomm based SOCs for Automotive ADAS or equivalent.
Good working knowledge of Microcontrollers and microprocessors based system design.
Good working knowledge of FPGA based designing.
Proficiency in schematic entry and layout review.
Experience using common lab equipment (Precision DMMs, High frequency DSOs, logic analyzers).
Soldering knowledge on basic components like SMD resistors, capacitors.

Desired Qualifications

Good working Knowledge in analog circuit simulations.
Provide directions to layout engineers.
SI/PI simulation using Hyperlynx or SIWave (Nice to have).
Experience in understanding EMC/EMI issues, debug and provide solutions (Nice to have).
