AWS seeks a self-driven Data Center Logistics Specialist in India to manage inventory and fiscal processes. This role involves liaising with suppliers and internal teams, managing documentation, and responding to customer queries. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office and various computer applications, and possess strong inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

Manage Data Center public and confidential documentation and communication.
Align with financial and inventory management teams.
Respond to queries from internal and external Customers.
Document, update, and publish new processes.
Gather data, generate, publish, and present metrics.
Understand all aspects of transportation, shipping and receiving, and inventory control.
Adhere to strict safety standards.
Assemble, address, and arrange for shipment of materials, and handle incoming shipments.
Unpack boxes and verify contents.
Load and unload large equipment utilizing pallet jacks.
Maintain accountability of in-stock components and process inbound shipments.
Assist with ongoing requests to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
Optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle, tracking inventory locations and movement.
Fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately.
Ensure inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations.
Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and convey business requirements.
Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts to Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
Transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations.
Handle sensitive/classified client materials.
Perform data entry and resolve questions from peer organizations.
Maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and/or Excel spreadsheets.
Create reports for internal and external customers and management.
Ensure all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate and validated.
Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups.
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.

Requirements

Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
Experience using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Inventory Management experience is essential.
Ability to self-educate and achieve goals without external support.

Desired Qualifications

2+ years of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices experience.
Interested in computer technologies with a strong drive to learn new skills.
Highly autonomous, very detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of financial processes.
Proficient with wide range of computer applications, such as Remedy, Wiki or Oracle Financial Applications.
