Responsibilities
- Develop standard operating procedure documents for risk and fraud investigators.
- Create email communications for Amazon's customers.
- Document operational processes and create messaging for a global audience.
- Understand business priorities and legal requirements driving content needs.
- Improve reader experience and respond to the changing seller landscape.
- Contribute to team-level goals and initiatives, and handle ad-hoc tasks.
- Troubleshoot tool issues impacting content and flag issues to tech teams.
Requirements
- Experience in editing, copy-editing, and proofreading.
- Experience in overseeing and managing projects and deadlines.
- Experience using content management systems and content tools.
- Experience managing content projects of varying complexity, conducting content review and overseeing localization.
- Experience of content strategy and information architecture.
- Demonstrated success at learning and explaining business processes.
- Ability to solve problems and work without close direction in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and report issues via the appropriate channels.
- Good judgment and effective communication.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of technical writer, editor, or content strategist experience.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with HTML, XML, or DITA.
- Experience with, or exposure to, Customer Trust Operations or business processes for Amazon customers.
