This role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to enable product launches, provide documentation, training, and debugging. Responsibilities
- Provide hardware design support to customers for efficient product launches.
- Answer technical questions on Qualcomm SoCs, memory, peripherals, and IOs (LPDDR, UFS, USB, PCIe, CSI, DSI, DP, Ethernet).
- Resolve technical problems through hands-on troubleshooting.
- Perform reviews of block diagrams, schematics, parts placement, and PCB routing on customer platforms, including DDR, Power Delivery Network, and Signal Integrity simulations.
- Create and contribute to customer-facing Hardware design examples.
- Create and maintain hardware documentation and design collateral.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with principles of High Speed PCB Design (transmission lines, pcb stack-up, controlled impedance, EMI/EMC, PDN).
- Familiarity with SoC interfaces such as LPDDR, MIPI, USB, PCIe, UFS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with complex multi-layered PCB design, schematic, and layout, including power and signal integrity.
- Self-motivated, independent, and works well with large interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience in finding the root cause of hardware system issues.
- Experience in integration, debug, and problem reproduction on internal and customer platforms.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years Hardware Design or Hardware Applications experience or related work experience.
- Experience with Programming Languages such as Python and/or Vbasic.
- Experience in Python programming is a plus.
