Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive commodity and supplier strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop diverse and high-performing sources of supply.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract development.
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks.
- Guide supplier performance management and relationship development.
- Manage commodity data, spend analytics, and performance metrics.
- Support new product development initiatives.
- Facilitate sourcing events such as competitive bidding and reverse auctions.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that strengthen supply chain resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related field experience in a multi-site or global environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JDE/SAP/QlikView, Portal, Insight, IBEE, and Team Center.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems and principles including low-cost country sourcing, auctions, VA/VE.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sourcing or commodity strategies.
- Experience analyzing data, market trends, and supplier performance.
- Strong project management skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and systems for procurement, analytics, or ERP.
- Ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
