Responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service: Be helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented when interacting with customers.
Handling complaints and inquiries: Listen actively to customers, resolve their concerns efficiently, and escalate issues when necessary.
Optimizing the shopping experience: Ensure your workspace is well-equipped, organized, and efficient at all times.
Processing payments: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive checkout experience.
Assisting with product assembly & exchanges: Help customers with assembly concerns and exchange components when needed.
Supporting store goals: Understand and contribute to the store’s commercial action plan to maximize sales and profitability.
Ensuring store safety & compliance: Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues.
Promoting IKEA values: Uphold and reflect IKEA’s values in all customer interactions.

Requirements

Experience in customer service and a retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently as well as contributing effectively as part of a team.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Genuine passion for home furnishing and an understanding of customers’ everyday lives at home.
