Alstom is looking for a CAD Operator to join the Haifa Nazareth LRT Project. The role involves preparing track alignment and design documents, issuing construction drawings, and overseeing track installation. Candidates should have a Master's degree, at least 3 years of experience in railway or track alignment design, and mastery of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Prepare track alignment and track design documents.
Prepare track documents for the construction team, including drawings and listings.
Position track components in the alignment and design all track interfaces.
Design mechanical assemblies for trackwork.
Issue construction drawings, including reinforcement, interface installation, track installation layouts and plans, turnouts, and road crossing phasing.
Follow up on track installation on site and update construction drawings to 'as-built' drawings.
Revise design or construction drawings in case of modifications.
Provide Return of Experience (RoE) for implementation in Reference Solutions.
Support the Project Track Engineering Manager in QCD improvements and change order processes.
Perform reporting at the project level.

Requirements

Mastery of AUTOCAD and technical drawing/industrial design basics.
Minimum 3 years of experience, with preference in railway (LRT / Metro) and track alignment design.
Good level in English.
Good team spirit and communication skills.
Initiative, self-motivation for technical matters, and speed learning.
Autonomy and rigor.

Desired Qualifications

Highway and urban insertion experience may be accepted if no direct railway experience.
Preferably some knowledge of track construction and maintenance.
Experience on BIM modelling is preferred.
Preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation skills.
