Responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential international brands for Amazon India's growth strategy.
- Conduct deep dives into international market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
- Develop business cases and strategies to convince international brands to enter the Indian market via Amazon.
- Negotiate deals and facilitate entry for international brands with senior executives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set priorities and develop launch plans.
- Manage the entire launch process from outreach to post-launch performance monitoring.
- Review and monitor performance and sales of launched international brands, providing strategic guidance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international brand partners.
- Stay informed about country-specific regulatory changes, import policies, and trade agreements.
Requirements
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working across multiple complex functions
- Capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders
- Adept at analyzing market trends, consumer behaviour, and sales data
- Proficiency in a foreign language is highly desirable.
