ABB is seeking a Business Controller in Bangkok, Thailand, to partner with business leaders, optimize financial performance, and support strategic decision-making. The role involves business planning, forecasting, financial reporting, risk assessment, and ensuring data transparency using SAP FI & CO modules. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to define and implement strategy for their area of responsibility.
Drive business planning and forecasting processes.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to support strategic goals and ensure continuous improvement in financial control processes.
Ensure timely and efficient communication with internal customers to identify areas for operational improvement.
Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures, and define internal controls.
Assess business risk exposure and define risk mitigation strategies.
Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
Establish and drive processes and tools for transparent and reliable financial data and business information.

Requirements

Highly skilled in working with SAP FI & CO modules.
Experience in the industrial market.
8-10 years of experience in financial controlling, business controlling, and/or management accounting.
Enhanced knowledge of financial reporting/financial analyses.
Experience creating dashboards for management.
Discipline to apply organizational policies and procedures.
Professional Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Ability to communicate well in English.

Desired Qualifications

Proficiency in Thai will be an added advantage.
