Responsibilities

  • Manage the Kwikset product portfolio from inception through end of life.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through product development projects using the HHI milestone process.
  • Support product road development and research initiatives for business and marketing strategy.
  • Analyze market, channel, and customer dynamics, product design, trends, and end-user preferences.
  • Manage documentation for new SKUs, including weights, dimensions, pricing, and UPCs.
  • Utilize sales data to make recommendations on aisle changes at major big box customers.
  • Support brand guidelines for packaging, merchandising, and collateral.
  • Coordinate meeting materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews, and business reviews.
  • Analyze data to make annual price increase and SKU rationalization recommendations.
  • Prepare creative briefs for commercialization support and submit creative requests.
  • Provide direction on messaging points and graphics for ecommerce listings.
  • Support channel marketing on off-shelf promotions and point-of-purchase display art.
  • Provide support on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required.
  • Minimum 3+ years marketing or relevant experience within the home improvement industry or consumer packaged goods company (CPG/FMG).
  • Experience with P&L management, understanding product portfolio or business P&L.
  • Ability to successfully manage several initiatives/projects simultaneously and motivate cross-functional team members.
  • Experience utilizing market research methods and tools and translating findings into solutions and strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large data sets without error for item master data and content creation.
  • Good Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Good Presentation Skills.
  • Good Project Management Skills.
  • Good Profit & Loss knowledge.
  • Good industry knowledge.
  • Basic Category Management knowledge.

Desired Qualifications

  • Specific experience and insight surrounding home décor trends, bath trends, and interior design a plus.
  • Must have excellent eye for design and strong sense of fashion.
