We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on Synopsys physical design solutions for semiconductor clients. This role involves driving technical excellence, customer success, and business growth by managing technical campaigns, customer escalations, and methodology development.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Physical Design Application Engineers supporting Synopsys implementation solutions.
Drive technical excellence, customer success, and business growth.
Ensure high-quality support, successful deployments, and strong customer relationships.
Partner closely with customers, sales, product management, and R&D organizations.
Provide leadership for technical campaigns, customer escalations, and methodology development.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
Drive operational excellence through effective resource planning, prioritization, and performance execution.
Contribute to long-term business strategies.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in ASIC Physical Design, Design Implementation, or Application Engineering.
2+ years of leadership, team management, or technical leadership experience.
Strong expertise in Physical Design implementation methodologies including Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, Routing, Timing Closure, Signoff, and PPA optimization.
Deep understanding of Synopsys Physical Design solutions, including Fusion Compiler, ICC2, PrimeTime, StarRC, IC Validator, and AI-driven technologies.
Proven ability to lead customer engagements, manage escalations, and drive successful business outcomes.
Experience supporting advanced technology nodes and complex SoC implementation projects.
Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
