Volvo Group is seeking an Adaptation Buyer in Wacol, QLD, to manage supplier performance for customer adaptation parts and optimize customer demand. The role involves working with a collaborative Automotive Purchasing team, contributing to sustainable transport solutions, and requires a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business with supplier management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the QDCF-TSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management) performance of the supplier base for customer adaptation parts.
  • Fulfil customer demand and optimize end to end responsibility for the complete trucks / parts offering towards the end customer.
  • Work on identifying innovative solutions to improve parts availability and customer value in line with Segment Business Plan (SBP).
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to be their number one partner of choice.

Requirements

  • Business acumen, agile in your way of working
  • Experience in managing suppliers, preferably within manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong and flexible team player, eager to learn and improve
  • Can-do approach: positive mindset, high level of energy, and ready to tackle challenges

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or equivalent
