What You'll Do

In this highly critical role as a software engineer focused on data warehousing:

You will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of all enterprise data warehouses.

You will ensure that data flowing through the system complies with information security, customer data protection, and secure development policies.

You will understand all the components in the system in excellent depth, and tune the nuts and bolts of the system to extract the most performance from it.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelors/Masters’ in Engineering

·       4- 10 years of experience in Software Development in Python

·       Proficiency in any NOSQL database technologies like Cassandra, MongoDB

·       Proficiency in Amazon Redshift/Azure SQL Data Warehouse

·       Proficiency in AWS/Azure technologies and environments

·       Demonstrated experience in developing and executing an integrated architectural view of, and strategy for, enterprise-wide database infrastructure technology solutions

·       Demonstrated experience with High Performing and Highly Available Distributed Database Topologies, Database Platform and Storage Technologies, and Data Migration

·       Validated ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies & languages

·       Experience working in small, highly technical teams employing Agile/Scrum practices

·       Ability to deliver results in a short time and experience working in fast paced high growth tech companies

·       Proven ability to influence a diverse geographically dispersed group of individuals to facilitate, moderate, and influence productive design and implementation discussions driving towards results

·       Superb communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization.

Desired Skills

·       Demonstrated experience with System Management and Monitoring Tools

·       Working experience in multi cluster environments, packaging, system bring up, performance tuning and operations at high scale

·       Exposure to Linux/Unix

·       Working experience in Docker/Microservices, Swarm/Kubernetes

·       Proficiency in Python/Java

·       Exposure to Open Source software and contributions to the Open Source community.

·       User interface development experience a huge plus
