The Manufacturing Engineer (ME) will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical challenges with the Manufacturing partners (MPa) of high-end based telecommunication equipment.
The ME will also be supporting the various business unit products that are manufactured out of the MPa and will be accountable for the following functions at the manufacturing site: Performs complex Manufacturing Engineering tasks using specialized domain knowledge and advanced business experience.
Assists with the layout of production flows and lines, including plant capacity planning and management.
Support identification of technologies required for new products Debugs process and product problems; collects data and analyse yield problems; drives corrective action.
Manages suppliers; drives cost reduction programs; support the development of six sigma goals Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view Provides guidance, direction, and instruction to less-experienced team members and colleagues.
Manages and drives Manufacturing Quality Metrics at the site for a set of products portfolio e.g. Yields, WIP Manages Quality excursions e.g. Line Stop, Purges Conduct manufacturing process and security audits, risk assessments, safety compliances
Run the business budgeting for manufacturing site needs.
Bachelors in Engineering or related subject area, preferably with 7 years of related manufacturing experience. Experience in SMT Process and Automation, PCBA and DF assembly and operations.
Mechanical and Packaging experiences and skills is preferred. Requires knowledge of standard processes in Manufacturing Engineering and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related disciplines
