As a Sr. Procurement Project Management Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end to end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment. You will work within a team of collaborative colleagues, working on high-impact projects that move the business forward. You will help your team meet deadlines, track, monitor and summarize progress of projects, and prepare reports for senior leadership regarding the status and project of the project.

Key Responsibilities
Oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing projects
Partners with Category and Commodity leaders to create strategy and drive projects to completion
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers

YOU MUST HAVE
Undergraduate degree and some experience in Supply Management / Sourcing / Procurement and leading projects

Need end to end understanding of Intercompany cycle/workstreams, including Intercompany Accounting, Intercompany Reporting, FX Hedging, IC Settlements & Policy Compliance. Work on resolving out of balances, and ensure entities line up to IC policy and procedures. Analysis of the IC GL accounts on a periodical basis, including policy enforcement. Ensure Interco practices are compliant to locations supported. Manage Intra-company and resolution of Equity reporting for cross company transactions for multi-SBG entities. Manage and propose appropriate corrections to GRIR account working alongside controllers and procurement. Be the focal point to co-ordinate Corp recharges, including coding and recording. Monitor Interco queues; act as tier 2/3 resolution/coordinator. Ensure month-end discrepancies are resolved and closed out within the set timelines. Focus on relevant metrics and develop action plans based on metric outcome. Reduce exceptions through root cause analysis and implementation of solutions. The position requires a breadth of technical experience across multiple programs and products, both electrical and mechanical, working directly with suppliers daily, influencing/working closely with the sourcing commodity leadership teams, Quality and NPD. The successful candidate should be able to effectively communicate with senior management, have a big-picture strategic mindset, handle multiple priorities, influence, and solve complex problems. Overview:  Develop and execute supplier development projects/plans with large and key/critical suppliers, interfacing with Supplier Quality, Global Sourcing, and site integrated Supply Chain to achieve world-class performance within the supply chain.  Conduct formal project assessments and develop project plans, determining the appropriate application of process improvement technique e.g. variation reduction, lean, black belt, or other tools to maximize results.  Coordinate/Lead large Honeywell activities within the supply base, to either improve directly or identify action plan/smaller projects that can be implemented. Key Responsibilities: •       Owns the complete Qualification of new suppliers into Honeywell developing partner style relationships and up-front agreements on supplier commitments, projects, timing and measurement of results. •       Own and conduct supplier assessments, both existing and new (process and quality system specific) using Global Sourcing Quality tools, creating development plan and RAIL to drive improvement. •       Own and Lead the roll out of Global Quality tools/processes/documentation within the site/supply base including providing any training where required. •       Key contributor to Commodity strategies – growth, sustain, remove suppliers •       Responsible to facilitate and/or support supplier performance management reviews. •       Own supplier scorecard and liaise/manage feedback with key/critical suppliers including improvement actions as well as manage its use within the sites. •       Lead and support CE/VE projects developing a strong relationship within cross functional teams including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Design and Supplier. •       Part of Escalation process on critical quality issues. •       Will include Travel – domestic and/or international (40-50%) YOU MUST HAVE •       Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering •       Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or Engineering (Design or Quality).
