The EU Transportation team is seeking a Transportation Specialist in Hyderabad to ensure timely package delivery across the EU. This role involves managing logistics providers, resolving operational issues, analyzing data, and communicating with stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field and experience with Excel and SQL are required.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders (Trans Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses).
Resolve potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.
Research and query internal tools and make real-time decisions.
Analyze data, notice trends, and drive customer experience.
Communicate clearly in written and oral form.
Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
Scope out business and functional requirements for Amazon technology teams.
Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make decisions based on available data.
Systematically escalate problems or variance to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs.
Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and present them in a review forum.
Provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24*7 operating environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
Experience with Excel.
Experience with SQL.

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of SQL.
