As a Consulting Engineer 4, you will assist customers in planning, designing, and implementing Cisco products and solutions, focusing on Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). You will drive technology design, execution, and optimization, supporting pre-sales activities and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Help customers plan, design, and implement Cisco products, services, and solutions.
Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects.
Work with customers on integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance.
Support pre-sales activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve and validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
Create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Align technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures and services.
Take a leadership role in the execution of delivery projects.
Improve solutions and methods developed in the field for wider practice use.
Create, review, and approve project deliverables such as Design Recommendations, High Level Design, Low Level Design, and Implementation/Change Management Plans.
Build and/or leverage test environments to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.
Leverage software skills and tools to configure, deploy, and/or troubleshoot Cisco products and solutions.
Contribute to the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g., scripts, digital signatures).
Act as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements.
Ensure proper and quick resolution of complex customer problems across a range of technologies.
Collaborate with other Consulting Engineers to ensure optimal use of resources.
Provide input to the Sales team in creating and demonstrating technology solutions.
Engage with sales teams on pre-sales activities.
Solve highly complex problems and identify viable and innovative options.

Requirements

Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
Expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
Experience with Cisco products, services, and solutions.
Ability to drive technology design, implementation, and optimization.
Skills in integrating and implementing tools, systems, and service assurance.
Experience in supporting pre-sales activities and translating business requirements into solution design.
Proficiency in building customer simulations and test labs.
Ability to create and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Skills in aligning technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
Experience driving customer technology transitions and influencing solution architectures.
Familiarity with relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals.
Experience in leading the execution of delivery projects.
Experience in sharing knowledge and improving solutions.
Ability to create, review, and approve project deliverables (Design Recommendations, HLD, LLD, Implementation/Change Management Plans).
Proficiency in leveraging software skills and tools for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Experience in problem resolution for customer engagements.
Ability to collaborate with other engineers and sales teams.
Strong analytical skills and judgment to recommend appropriate solutions.
