We are looking for a skilled SAP BODS Consultant with 3-5 years of experience to join us as a Technical Lead in Chennai, India. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying ETL solutions, supporting data migration, and providing production support for SAP and non-SAP systems, often during night shifts to cover USA hours.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
Extract and integrate data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, legacy systems, flat files, databases, and third-party applications.
Develop and optimize data transformation, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
Support data migration and data quality initiatives.
Monitor daily ETL jobs, workflows, and production interfaces, ensuring timely completion and data accuracy.
Troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities in line with operational support processes and SLAs.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data integration requirements and enhancements.
Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements

3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Strong expertise in ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Experience working with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and non-SAP data sources.
Proficiency in SQL and data integration concepts.
Experience in production support, job scheduling, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Ability to independently manage operational support activities and handle critical production incidents.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Willingness to support night shifts to cover USA hours.

Desired Qualifications

SAP BODS certification is preferred.
