Responsibilities

Build high-performance, globally scalable systems supporting Amazon's growth.
Develop system solutions for critical business functions with high availability and performance.
Automate and scale infrastructure as the company expands globally.
Contribute to work-critical initiatives, build products, and lead engineers in troubleshooting and enhancements.
Perform software deployments, migrations, and host management.
Automate operational tasks and develop end-to-end automation for human-free operations.
Participate in the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale software systems.
Communicate ideas effectively and collaborate with team members to increase overall team effectiveness.
Impact technical decisions in the broader organization and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
Experience with Linux/Unix.
