As a Supplier Quality Engineer in Chihuahua, Mexico, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, and operations. Your responsibilities include managing and evaluating suppliers, supporting non-conforming materials, and participating in quality improvement strategies. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field and 5 years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

Provide primary technical liaison between suppliers, purchasing, engineering, and operations.
Support operations, new product development, and product engineering changes.
Manage, evaluate, develop, and audit suppliers.
Support disposition of non-conforming materials and resolve quality issues.
Participate in teams to develop and implement strategies for improved quality and cost reduction.
Establish new suppliers and qualify components for production.
Create qualification plans and verify Production Part Approval Process deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
Fully Bilingual English (for leading international meetings).
5 years minimum experience in the position or similar.
Schedule flexibility and traveling availability (USA-Visa).

GD&T and problem-solving methodologies knowledge.
Experience in developing PPAP with suppliers.
Experience working with global staff.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
