IKEA Dublin is looking for two People Planning Specialists to manage workforce planning, schedules, and labor allocation to meet customer and business needs. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive starting salary of €35,000 per annum and a range of benefits, including discounts and paid leave.

Responsibilities

  • Implement people planning strategy for the store, adhering to localized principles and guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements for People Planning.
  • Manage the complete people planning process, from forecasting to posting schedules, to match coworker, customer, and business needs.
  • Identify improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate deviations.
  • Ensure the people planning process supports talent development and excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to fill vacancies with the right contract type.
  • Educate and support unit co-workers on the people planning process and their role in it.

Requirements

  • Experience implementing long-term plans for staffing according to budgets and goals.
  • Ability to interact and engage with a wide audience and develop collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership or stakeholder influencing experience.
  • Understanding of coworker and employer rights and obligations.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and responsibility, while also being a team-player.
  • Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyze data, meet deadlines, and achieve results.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with Kronos, My time, or Legion would be an advantage but not essential.
