Alfa Laval is seeking a Sr. Project Manager in Pune to handle medium to high complexity projects within the EPC industry. The role involves managing projects from inception to handover, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. A Graduate Engineer with 15+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of project management in process industries is required.

Responsibilities

Manage project development from Engineering to Handover.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on the contract.
Estimate resources, develop project plans, and monitor timelines using tools like MS Project.
Develop communication documents, progress reports, and budget proposals.
Coordinate with relevant departments and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Organize weekly Project Followup Meetings and review financial status reports.
Motivate and supervise project team members, internal and external.
Attend meetings with customers, consultants, and suppliers.
Coordinate for effective project closure and handover.
Support ISO Certification adherence.

Requirements

Graduate Engineer in Chemical/Mechanical/Production Stream.
15+ years of relevant experience in Project Management within the EPC industry.
Good knowledge of project management related to Process industries.
Understanding of engineering codes & standards.
Hands-on experience of ERP.
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project or any other project management tool.
Good command on formal written and verbal communication.

Desired Qualifications

Certification in project management is desirable.
Stimulate people, motivate and inspire them through engagement.
Discuss with EM to ensure optimum deployment of team members.
Mentoring & coaching new PMs, if applicable.
Ability to implement standards & work processes.
Instil confidence in customer about quality of execution and deliverables.
