Responsibilities
- Guide partnerships with stakeholders to determine user, security, and platform requirements.
- Lead the team in identifying dependencies and developing architecture and design documents for OS security features.
- Guide the development, optimization, debugging, refactoring, and reuse of low-level code.
- Diagnose complex product issues, develop corrective actions, and support security-critical components.
- Drive project plans and release plans in coordination with partner teams.
- Lead product development and scaling, applying engineering best practices.
- Model, coach, and care for team members by defining clear outcomes and investing in their growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year.
- For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
