Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software applications using Java technologies.
Create and implement new features, capabilities, and software modules.
Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and architectural decisions.
Estimate tasks and contribute to project planning.
Investigate, document, and resolve software defects.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and product stakeholders.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Support system optimization, troubleshooting, and application enhancements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Professional experience developing backend applications using Java 8 or newer.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design practices.
Knowledge of the Java ecosystem, including containers, class loaders, data structures, and streams.
Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Knowledge of Java concurrency and multithreaded programming.
Basic understanding of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) architecture.
Understanding of client-side and server-side application architectures.
Experience using build and dependency management tools such as Maven or Ant.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications

Experience designing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and agile practices.
Knowledge of application performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience working with source control systems, automated testing, and continuous integration practices.
Exposure to cloud-based technologies and containerized application environments.
Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
