Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate scalable distributed services for cross-border trade and regulatory compliance.
Translate ambiguous business and regulatory requirements into simple, maintainable technical solutions.
Own the architecture and delivery of major features, including effort estimation and rollout planning.
Build reliable, secure, and observable systems that meet performance and availability goals.
Collaborate with product managers, compliance specialists, UX designers, and engineers across Amazon.
Participate in code reviews, operational support, and continuous improvement.
Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and team development.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
