We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React JS, and Node JS to design and develop scalable web applications. The role involves building cloud-native solutions, front-end and back-end development, RESTful APIs, microservices, and deployment on Azure/GCP using modern DevOps practices and automated testing. Strong problem-solving, Agile environment adaptability, and collaboration are key.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React JS, Node JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Build responsive and reusable UI components following modern front-end practices.
Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs and backend services.
Implement application integrations with internal and external systems.
Create and maintain unit tests using Jest and ensure high test coverage.
Develop and execute automated functional tests using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Deploy, configure, and monitor applications on Azure and GCP environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment activities.
Manage source code repositories using Git and GitHub workflows.
Work within Agile Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
Contribute to technical documentation, architectural decisions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
Support production releases and resolve critical incidents.
Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with React JS, including Hooks, Context API, Redux, and component-driven architecture.
Strong backend development expertise using Node JS and Express JS.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Excellent understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI development concepts.
Expertise in Jest for unit testing and test-driven development practices.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent automated functional testing tools.
Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, containerization, and microservices.
Experience with Git, GitHub, branching strategies, and code review processes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
5-10 years of professional software development experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within distributed teams.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering quality outcomes.

Proven ability to influence technical decisions and drive engineering excellence.
Understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise application standards.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience working in global delivery models and multicultural teams.

Willingness to participate in production support and release activities when required.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of API security, OAuth, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.
Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging platforms.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud services.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
