As a Service Technician, you will perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment, ensuring high-quality service for customers. This remote role requires 1-2 years of technical experience, strong customer focus, and the ability to travel within your assigned territory in Washington.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
  • Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads, skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
  • Communicate with customers and Service Manager about services performed and present repair options.
  • Complete all service-related documentation accurately.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including travel to customer locations, out-of-town, and overnight stays.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
  • Ability to absorb higher learning, including VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Customer-focused and ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Proficiency using computers for work orders, ordering parts, and training.
  • Supply all basic required tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature, requiring continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute (30 minutes to 1 hour) of the assigned territory.
  • Ability to park a company-issued service vehicle at your residence without restrictions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC is a plus.
  • Certifications are a plus (EPA Certified).

  • $31hr - $38hr salary, geographically adjusted based on cost-of-living factors.
  • Overtime eligible; overtime begins after 8 work hours in a day.
