In short

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead with expertise in Java Full Stack development, focusing 70% on backend and 30% on frontend using Angular 2/TypeScript. The role requires strong skills in Java, Spring, ORM, SQL, unit testing, and Unix/Linux environments. Experience with Google App Engine and Spanner is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy applications on Unix/Linux environments.
Design and develop REST/SOAP web services.
Utilize source control and build technologies like Ant and Maven.
Develop on Google AppEngine and Spanner (preferred).

Requirements

Expert knowledge of Java and object-oriented design patterns.
Expert knowledge of Dependency Injection (Spring or Guice required, Guice preferred).
Experience with Oracle or MySQL and writing SQLs.
Experience in Angular 2 / TypeScript.
Expert knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, or other unit testing best practices.
4+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with ORM such as Hibernate ORM.
Experience with Web development or REST/SOAP web services development and design principles.
Experience with source control and build technology (e.g. Ant, Maven), 4+ years of experience.
Strong oral and writing skills characterized by the ability to communicate technical and non-technical information thoroughly and clearly to a range of reading and comprehension skill levels.

Desired Qualifications

Experience developing on Google AppEngine and Spanner is strongly preferred.
Bachelors (BS in Computer Science) or Similar education level required.
