We are seeking an experienced Azure Monitoring & API Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Kusto Query Language (KQL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud-based applications and APIs, providing actionable insights through telemetry, logging, and advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support RESTful APIs and API integrations.
Monitor application performance using Azure Application Insights.
Configure and manage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, alerts, and dashboards.
Create and optimize KQL queries for log analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Analyze telemetry data to identify performance bottlenecks and system issues.
Build custom workbooks, dashboards, and monitoring solutions.
Implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies.
Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis using logs and metrics.
Collaborate with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
Support CI/CD deployments and ensure observability best practices are implemented.
Develop operational reports and performance trends using Azure monitoring tools.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Requirements

Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Workbooks, Alerts and Action Groups
Strong KQL expertise
REST APIs, JSON, XML, API integrations
Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, App Services
CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
3+ years of Azure Monitoring and Observability experience
2-5+ years in NOC, Command Center, Monitoring or Incident Management roles.
Hands-on experience with Application Insights and Azure Monitor
Strong proficiency in KQL
Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications using telemetry and logs

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
