This Senior Engineer I Systems Application role in Pune, India requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with 6+ years of experience, preferably in oil and gas. Responsibilities include hands-on experience with metering systems, flow computers, PLC/SCADA, and ensuring effective communication of findings. The position is on-site and full-time.

Responsibilities

Design work processes and complete design packages.
Optimally communicate findings through reports and presentations.
Generate reports in customer-required formats and units of measurement.
Test flow skid packages and serial communications (Modbus TCP/IP, RTU, ASCII).
Verify calculations as per Metering (AGA-8, AGA-7, or API) measurement standards.
Simulate field signals, perform fault finding, and suggest remedies.
Provide suggestions to improve test setups for quality and efficiency.
Ensure knowledge is shared within the team.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
Proficient in spoken and written English language.
Proficient with MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, MS Project).
Hands-on experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering.
Intermediate hands-on experience on ABB, AB, Siemens, Schneider PLC / SCADA, HMI, Batch Controllers / Truck or Ship Loading / Unloading Controllers, OPC Communication.
Hands-on experience of S600+, OMNI (Flow Computer) and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow.
Good understanding of Level 3 network, Cyber Security, Backup and Restore, Patch Management.
Minimum 6 plus confirmed experience preferably with oil and gas background.

Desired Qualifications

Looking for experienced candidate of S600+, OMNI and Emerson DeltaV based Metering Flow Computer’s preferred.
Experience with Truck loading Batch Controllers or PLC, experience in any HMI (Wonderware/iFix/Cimplicity/Movicon).
Experience on Liquid or GAS, Fiscal or Custody Transfer Metering Knowledge, Provers and Master Meters.
