We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Manchester site in maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards like ISO 9001, PED, ASME, ATEX, and AQAP. The role involves supporting audits, inspections, maintaining quality documentation, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and Right First Time principles.

Responsibilities

Support external certification bodies, regulatory agencies, and customer audits.
Coordinate certification and surveillance audits and support closure of findings.
Monitor and implement changes to regulatory and industry standards.
Maintain quality and compliance documentation.
Conduct internal audits and provide guidance on quality and compliance.
Support qualification and approval activities for products, processes, suppliers, and personnel.

Requirements

Experience in a quality, compliance, or engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification or experience in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and industry standards (PED, ASME, ATEX, AQAP, or similar).
Experience investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions.
Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and external auditors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications

Internal Auditor experience.
Continuous Improvement experience desirable.
