Responsibilities
- Define, build, and execute transportation processes from Fulfillment Centers to sortation hubs and last-mile Delivery Centers.
- Hire, train, and build a motivated workforce for sort hubs to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure sufficient bandwidth in sites for peak time volume management.
- Coordinate with Finance, Delivery Stations, FCs, and Projects teams on city operations.
- Conduct performance appraisals and mentor team members for efficient operations.
- Continuously improve defined processes to enhance quality, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
- Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
- Drive key initiatives across the region related to safety, engagement, network speed, and cost optimization.
- Lead daily stand-ups, WBRs, MBRs, and peak preparedness calls.
- Implement process improvement mechanisms like Kaizen and Continuous Improvement.
- Review and finalize labor plans to optimize costs while maintaining high performance standards and associate experience.
- Coach Ops managers to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
- Liaise with other Site Leads/Regional leaders and central teams to benchmark best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

- Well-rounded leadership capabilities and people management skills.
