Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels by monitoring component availability, minimizing costs and ensuring uninterrupted production.
  • Oversee the management of obsolete and slow-moving materials, and coordinate the introduction of new components.
  • Support production planning by providing accurate information on material availability, supplier capacity, and potential supply risks.
  • Manage purchase orders for production materials, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and monitoring fulfillment.
  • Coordinate supply activities to ensure materials are delivered in the right quantity, to the right place, and at the right time.
  • Proactively address delivery delays or supply issues and collaborate with suppliers, external warehouses, and logistics providers.
  • Drive process improvements in supply and inventory management to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve material flow, and shorten lead times.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on inventory, supply performance, costs, and production risks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Engineering, Procurement, and Controlling teams.
  • Prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and balancing operational requirements.
  • Solve problems proactively by addressing material shortages, delivery disruptions, production plan changes, and component quality issues.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, specifically in material planning.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
