Responsibilities
- Design and validate a framework for evaluating the trustworthiness of AI-powered solutions.
- Create an automated evaluation mechanism with measurable benchmarks for data quality, model behavior, and answer quality.
- Develop a large, representative evaluation set with questions, answers, edge cases, and misleading inputs.
- Evaluate AI solutions across dimensions like data trustworthiness, answer trustworthiness, system reliability, safety, governance, and user trust experience.
- Explore how to identify key persons for building trust, verify AI output relevance, spot and avoid hallucinations, and determine when human involvement is needed.
- Develop methods for creating and maintaining a representative benchmark dataset, identifying the best trustworthiness metrics, and supporting continuous evaluation after release.
- Investigate how to communicate uncertainty to users without reducing usability or trust.
- Contribute to building valuable AI-powered solutions using agentic AI, Graph RAG, knowledge engineering, ontologies, and knowledge orchestrators.

- Master’s student looking for an innovative company to collaborate with on your master’s thesis during the spring semester of 2027.
- Interest in establishing trust in AI through a practical framework.
- Ability to approach the subject and provide thoughts on how to do so.
- Willingness to work at one of ASSA ABLOY's two sites in Stockholm.
- Resume and ideas on how to approach the subject.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AI-powered solutions.
- Familiarity with concepts such as data quality, model behavior, answer quality, privacy, security, bias, and compliance.
- Knowledge of areas like rule-based checks, retrieval-source validation, LLM-as-a-judge techniques, semantic similarity measures, and comparison against a trusted reference answer.
