Responsibilities
- Perform precision shaft alignment using laser shaft alignment tools.
- Conduct mechanical tests on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers following established procedures.
- Record and analyze vibration, pressure, and temperature data during testing.
- Set up electrical and mechanical input/output connections, including auxiliary equipment.
- Generate accurate and detailed test reports using Windows-based software.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to the engineering team.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during test operations.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical testing of rotating machinery (e.g., blowers, compressors, dryers).
- Proficient in using laser shaft alignment tools.
- Ability to measure vibration, pressure, and temperature using appropriate instruments.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical connections for industrial equipment.
- Proficient with Windows-based computers and software for generating test reports.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in industrial testing environments, ideally within compressor manufacturing, rotating machinery, or heavy industrial equipment sectors.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage intricate testing systems that uphold safety standards and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and quality standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with soft starters, water-cooling towers, or similar auxiliary equipment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or test lab environment.
