Responsibilities
- Drive lean methodology
- Data collection and analysis focus on standards and repeatability
- Video analysis of current process to analyze 3Ms (Muri, Mura and Muda)
- Assist line balancing projects
- Work with other departments to implement product and process changes
- Support training session of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Participate in project planning, implementation and improvements
- Works FI (Focus Improvement) Owner to promote the Culture of Continuous Improvement
- Support 5S activities
- Assist kaizens on the organization (assembly lines, logistic areas and quality area)
- Assist in Kaizen weeks
- Assist in follow-up, reports and flow charts
- Participate in functional meetings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- Completed 30 semester hours before the internship starts
- Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75
- Strong communication skills
- Valid US Work authorization
