Information Security Trainee

Monotype is seeking an Information Security Trainee for an on-site position in Noida. This entry-level role involves performing security investigations, coordinating breach response, and maintaining security monitoring infrastructure, with training provided. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or information security is required.

Responsibilities

Analyze threat information from multiple sources, disciplines, and agencies.
Synthesize and contextualize intelligence information to draw insights.
Analyze collected information to identify vulnerabilities and potential for exploitation.
Identify and assess the capabilities and activities of cyber criminals or foreign intelligence entities.
Respond to crisis or urgent situations to mitigate immediate and potential threats.
Utilize mitigation, preparedness, and response and recovery approaches.
Investigate and analyze all relevant response activities.
Assist IT in malware remediation.
Assist IT in configuration auditing of network and operating systems.

Requirements

Understanding of network, systems, application, and cloud security, specifically with AWS.
Understanding of information security concepts.
Technical communication and analytical skills.
Time management and organization skills with an aptitude towards creative problem solving.
Oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/information security or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in the role is considered but not required.
