Emerson is seeking a Graduate Sales Engineer in Lagos, Nigeria, for a 2026 pipeline program. This developmental role focuses on training future leaders in technical and commercial domains through formal and on-the-job training, with progression based on individual performance and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Participate actively in developmental programs and gain skill sets.
Deliver internship projects excellently.
Support and collaborate with service and sales teams and LBPs in the region.
Work closely with service engineers, sales/business development team to improve service delivery and sales figures in Nigeria.
Support the development and implementation of sales and service strategies for the region.
Work closely with other Emerson Business Units and maximize pull-through content.
Develop long-term relationships within customer accounts to ensure awareness of Emerson's capabilities.
Improve customer satisfaction by finding solutions to their needs.
Keep up to date with developments in products, industries, and market trends.
Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are strictly followed.
Maintain record of business activity as per Emerson record retention policy.
Conduct business strictly in compliance with Emerson’s ITC policies.

Requirements

Age: Not older than 26 years.
Action oriented and committed.
Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline (electrical/electronic, chemical, mechanical) or sciences (physics, chemistry, geology, computer science) with a minimum of second class upper from a recognized university.
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Must have completed the mandatory national service program (NYSC) or received a discharge or exemption certificate by September 2025.
Fluent in English.

Desired Qualifications

0-2 years post-graduate work experience.
Oil & gas industry experience is a plus.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent performer with a passion to achieve positive business results.
Curiosity and desire to learn and expand skill set.
Flexible, adaptable, and open to change.
Good organizational and efficiency skills.
Highly ethical with convincing level of integrity.
