Qualcomm is looking for a GPU Implementation Engineer to architect, design, implement, and optimize GPU cores. Responsibilities

  • Apply GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU cores for performance and power.
  • Build functional model simulations and develop software for graphics testing.
  • Program and run graphics tests to assess functionality, performance, and power, identifying issues.
  • Collaborate with teams, third-party vendors, and external users to guide implementation.
  • Develop driver and compiler software to support GPU products.
  • Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant GPU experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience.
