We are seeking a Global Engineering Director to lead our Branson technologies, focusing on product development, innovation, and technical leadership. This role requires extensive experience in engineering management within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of business principles and market trends.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for technical leadership of Branson technologies, including new product development.
Lead an India organization responsible for material joining product design, development, sustaining engineering, and global welding programs.
Maintain high engineering concepts, standards of design, and quality for product development and improvement.
Provide leadership for Branson’s intellectual property strategy, including patent and licensing activities.
Ensure establishment and administration of quality controls under ISO certification.
Plan and implement human resources, capital, and expenses to meet business objectives.
Manage human resource development, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and succession planning.
Collaborate with universities on work training programs and participate in external technology exchange forums.
Develop strategic plans for portfolio management, including recommendations for joint ventures, acquisitions, and product line expansions.
Support India/Asia Operations with technical solutions for Quality, Service, and Application Teams.
Represent Branson India/Asia in global engineering symposiums, task forces, and technology conferences.

Requirements

20+ years of experience, with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
BE/ME/MS Degree in an engineering field; Electronics or Software engineering is an advantage.
Knowledge of Computer Science and principles of business and technology.
Managerial experience in Engineering, Research and Development within a manufacturing industrial enterprise.
Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
Proven track record of successful new product development.
Ability to travel 30% to meet business needs.
Knowledge of Business Administration and Economics.
Industrial experience in ultrasonic welding technology and applications.
Demonstrated success leading multiple engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and applications engineering).
