In short

As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for operational excellence in IKEA Food, including preparing menu items, assisting customers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean dining environment. This role also involves managing the Swedish Food Market and adhering to all safety and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions.
Maintain equipment operation and conduct cleaning maintenance.
Ensure a clean supply of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
Manage the Swedish Food Market (merchandising, pricing, stock rotation).
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions.
Implement IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and inventory.
Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years of equivalent experience.
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred.
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred.
