Seeking an IP Engineer in Noida, India to handle alarm analysis, operation-maintenance, and troubleshooting for IP nodes like routers, switches, and firewalls. Responsibilities include resolving customer-raised trouble tickets and ensuring service availability according to SLAs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise ITSM Ticket queues to maintain MTTR.
- Identify root cause of P0/P1/P2/P3/P4 Incidents and recommend resolution actions.
- Act as the first point of contact for support of alarm/event/KPI related issues.
- Collaborate with Field Team for hardware failures and node unreachable issues.
- Ensure timely restoration of Services and maintain MTTR for good customer experience and high Service availability.
- Proactively detect possible failures to ensure incident restoration/avoidance.
- Perform Node health checks, backups, and troubleshoot identified deviations.
- Share details for MIR & CSR to respective teams.
- Handle 3PP/OEM, Problem management, Data Analytics, and Customer Governance.
Requirements
- Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, BGP, BGP-LU, MPLS, Inter-AS, LDP, RSVP, TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD, Segment Routing.
- Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
- Knowledge of IP Security protocols- IPSEC, GRE, VPN, CGNat.
- Familiarity with CISCO, Spine-leaf Architecture, Border-Leaf Architecture, VX-LAN.
- Telecom knowledge (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G Service Flow & Interfaces).
- Product/Vendor knowledge on CISCO (mandatory) & Ericsson (preferable).
- Good Communication & trouble-shooting skills.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in IP Domain.
