Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move products into the warehouse.
- Ensure products are available to customers by completing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work around other heavy machinery such as other forklift trucks, counterbalance, and pump trucks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Pick palettes and move them from the loading bay to the warehouse using a forklift.
Requirements
- Previous experience with forklift operations is beneficial, though not essential, as training is provided.
- High level of enthusiasm and a proactive, eager-to-learn mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload efficiently with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in using technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Efficient and motivated, capable of managing tasks professionally and collaboratively within a team.
- Comfort and competence in performing manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials in accordance with established safety procedures.
Benefits
- Planned start date is 18th September 2026.
- Base hourly rate of £14.15 per hour.
- Additional £1.50 an hour (Forklift Allowance) and an additional £2.25 an hour (Nightshift Allowance) when working between 10pm and 6am.
- 30 hours a week, working 5 days per week (4:00am - 10:00am).
