Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and integrate design thinking into CAD software product development.
Lead a team of designers in utilizing CAD software to create innovative design solutions, providing mentorship and guidance.
Present design concepts and strategies using CAD visualizations to stakeholders.
Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for CAD software utilization.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in CAD software and design methodologies.

Requirements

Strong understanding of CAD software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and their applications in design and engineering.
In-depth knowledge of design principles, methodologies, and best practices related to system and equipment design.
Solid experience in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) techniques to optimize product designs for efficiency and manufacturability.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design concepts.

Desired Qualifications

Optional but valuable: Certification in CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) or relevant design methodologies.
