Volvo Financial Services busca um Engenheiro de Dados para Curitiba, Brasil, para impulsionar sua jornada de Dados e IA na América Latina. O candidato será responsável pelo desenvolvimento e manutenção de soluções de dados escaláveis, suporte à plataforma de dados baseada em Azure e colaboração com equipes de dados e negócios para viabilizar soluções de análise e IA.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations across multiple business systems and markets.
Support the evolution of our Azure-based Data Platform and Data Lake ecosystem.
Support data quality, reliability, governance, and operational stability of critical data assets.
Develop and optimize ETL and ELT processes for structured and unstructured data sources.
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Teams, and Global Data initiatives to enable analytics and AI solutions.
Support the delivery of strategic data products, dashboards, reporting solutions, and predictive initiatives.
Contribute to automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data engineering practices, including the use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience building and supporting data pipelines and data integration solutions.
Solid SQL (Structured Query Language) skills and experience with relational databases.
Experience with ETL and ELT development and data pipeline orchestration.
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding and automation, for example GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar.
Knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, or similar data platforms.
Knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data engineering technologies.
Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives.
Experience with financial services, banking, insurance, or leasing industries.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps (Development and Operations) practices.
Experience working in multinational and multicultural environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused mindset.
Continuous learning attitude and curiosity for emerging technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across countries and teams.
