Responsibilities
- Provide technical information and support to internal and external customers, end users & field sales.
- Answer product support calls, chats, and emails for Secuitech products.
- Act as a liaison for product information from the field to Profit Center Managers and production personnel.
- Provide feedback to sales and customer base based on problem-solving.
- Perform root cause analysis of returned products and assist with corrective actions.
- Review Special Product Application Requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Review new and existing product literature and recommend changes for accuracy.
- Support production with assembly, quality, application, and engineering issues.
- Provide training on the floor and perform quality checks.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong analytic and logical problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude with installation experience.
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting is desired.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage projects and recognize needed customer improvements.
- Ability to tackle problems, take independent action, seek answers, act on opportunities, and generate new ideas.
- Ability to work on complex assignments requiring judgment and initiative with a customer focus.
- Limited travel for field troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in a technical field preferred, but not required with relevant job experience.
