Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service duties and tasks according to Scania values, principles, processes, guidelines and standards.
  • Manage agreement documentation and handle customer contacts, questions and issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in local operations.
  • Make calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships.
  • Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints.
  • Interview customers to clarify requirements or assist in conducting interviews with potential customers.
  • Provide product/service information and respond to customer questions.
  • Record and process custom/special customer orders.
  • Respond to basic issue escalations promptly and appropriately.
  • Provide service to customers to encourage continued use of the organization's products/services.
  • Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform customer service duties and tasks according to common Scania values, principles, processes, guidelines and standards.
  • Experience in managing agreements documentation.
  • Experience in handling customer contact, questions and issues.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Experience in making calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships.

  • Ability to interview customers using a complex multilevel sales script.
  • Ability to record and process custom/special customer orders.
  • Ability to respond to basic issue escalations promptly and appropriately.
  • Ability to schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct.
  • Ability to develop own capabilities through assessment, development planning, training and coaching.
  • Ability to develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in dealing with ambiguous delivery expectations.
  • Managerial approvals may be required for exceptions.
  • May require ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
