Ericsson is seeking a Cloud Business Architect in Reading, UK, to align business goals with cloud capabilities. This role involves designing cloud adoption roadmaps, optimizing operating models, and ensuring strategic and financial value from cloud investments. You will bridge business needs and technical execution, working closely with various teams to define solutions and incorporate cloud architecture into customer proposals.

Responsibilities

Act as an enterprise strategist and architect bridging MSN business goals with cloud computing capabilities and cost/benefit models.
Interact closely with SDAP Platform and Integration teams to define and evolve solutions.
Design high-level cloud adoption and modernization roadmaps, including landing-zone patterns, migration strategies, standard platform capabilities (data pipelines, AI/ML, observability, security), and architectural principles.
Optimize operating models for cloud-based delivery, ensuring cloud investments drive financial and strategic value.
Work with sales and solution teams to incorporate cloud and intelligence architecture into customer proposals.
Provide guidance on cost optimization, scalability, and resilience for deployments.
Collaborate with Business Development Team and AI Innovation to align portfolio offerings.
Monetize capabilities through development of new Value Packs.
Conduct research for future evolution of systems and tools within the MSDP ecosystem.
Coordinate with delivery and regions to ensure the platform roadmap addresses operational and commercial needs.

Requirements

University degree in engineering, business, economics, or equivalent.
Typically 10+ years in managed services, portfolio management, product management, or commercial management.
Proven leadership experience.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Deep understanding of managed services operations.
Portfolio and product management capabilities.
Stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

A good demonstrated working knowledge of the Ericsson Operations Engine.
Industry event experience and public speaking.
Knowledge of the BCSS business development process for Product Management.
Adept at using AI for workplace-based productivity.
